aKDPhi is the first, largest, and only Asian-interest international sorority on campus! They pride themselves on five pillars: sxsterhood, scholarship, leadership, service, and Asian awareness. The ‘x’ in sxsterhood is to be inclusive of a variety of backgrounds such as race and gender identity that contribute to being a womxn. They are dedicated to raising awareness for Breast Cancer as well as foster a supportive sxsterhood that promotes strong leaders and cultural awareness.

Chi Upsilon Sigma National Latin Sorority Incorporated is the first independent Latina sorority. Though they are Latin based, they are not Latin bound. They commit themselves to educating, elevating, and empowering all women. They strive to elevate and empower everyone in their community through service projects that they partake in. Their motto is “wisdom through education” which allows them to educate others, as well as, themselves on political, educational, social, and cultural issues that take place in our society today. As sisters with such a focus on education, they take pride in their national philanthropy the I Have a Dream Foundation, which provides students in marginalized communities with financial and emotional support from kindergarten through their post-secondary education.

They are GRL! As the only LGBTQ+ sorority on campus they have one of the most diverse groups of people possible! They are a social sorority so they have a lot of events for them to hangout and bond together. They just became a full fledged chapter this past summer and are excited to grow and expand as they welcome more people. They are looking forward to being able to do bigger and more exciting events.

Kappa Phi Gamma Sorority, Inc. is the first-ever South-Asian interest sorority, established on November 8th, 1998 by 27 visionary Founders. The Founders envisioned a sorority built around 8 principles: Character, Leadership, Scholarship, Sisterhood, Service, Culture, Womanhood, and Self. On January 27, 2008, six women chartered the Lambda Chapter here at George Mason University. The sisters at Lambda Chapter strive to embody these principles and create a safe, prosperous, and healthy space for their sisters and the Mason community through various philanthropic efforts, service activities, cultural events, and academic workshops. Since being chartered, Lambda Chapter sisters and alumni continue to set strong examples of hard-working and persevering women through various leadership positions and high-level executive work within their respective fields.

Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. (ΚΦΛ) is a cultural Asian-interest (but NOT Asian-exclusive) sorority represented at 32 universities. With over 4,000 sisters across the nation, they are one of the fastest-growing and most passionate Asian-American interest sororities in the United States! They distinguish themselves on their three pillars of Sisterhood, Service, and Cultural Diversity. These pillars allow them to shape women into stronger individuals, provide service, and help promote cultural diversity within our community. The Alpha Alpha Chapter at George Mason University was founded on November 13th, 2004 by 2 inspiring, empowering, and passionate women, and is the FIRST and LARGEST Pan-Asian Interest Sorority on campus!

Lambda Phi Epsilon is the largest and only international Asian-interest fraternity, with more than 70 chapters and 10,000 members. They were founded on February 25th, 1981 at the University of California, Los Angeles by 19 dedicated men. Their colors are royal blue and white, and their mascot is dragon. Their philanthropy is the National Marrow Donor Program, BeTheMatch. Their motto is “To be leaders among men” and their five core values are authenticity, courageous leadership, cultural heritage, love, and wisdom. The GMU Associate Chapter of Lambda Phi Epsilon International Fraternity Inc was chartered on December 1st, 2019 by 6 dedicated men from different backgrounds, with the guidance of New Member Educators from the Alpha Tau Chapter at the University of Virginia. Since chartering, their chapter has guided men on a lifelong discovery of brotherhood and a journey to become the best version of themselves. Lambda Phi Epsilon prides themselves on shaping future leaders among men through giving back to the Mason community through cultural awareness, philanthropy work, and academic excellence.

They are the Mu Chapter of Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc. They are a Latina-based, but not Latina-exclusive sorority and they were the first Latina-based sorority to be founded on Mason’s campus. Their sorority was founded on three ideals: La Comunidad (the community), La Hermandad (the sisterhood), and La Cultura Latina (the Latina culture). They believe in working towards the advancement of all people of color with an emphasis on the latinx by promoting community service, academic excellence, and professional advancement.

They are the Divine & Ever So Lovely, Delta Epsilon Chapter of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Incorporated. Founded in 1975, they are the first & largest Latin Sorority in the nation. The purpose of Lambda Theta Alpha is to provide a sisterhood based on unity, love, and respect. To develop strong leaders who will then provide and practice political, social and cultural activities. Promote unity through charitable and educational programs. Maintain a higher standard of learning and serve as a voice for all students. They maintain a motto of “Latin by tradition, not by definition.” As a non-exclusionary sorority open to all ethnicities and backgrounds.

Established on December 26, 1931 Phi Iota Alpha is the oldest latino fraternity in existence. Dedicated to the development of professional leaders through shared experiences and fostered lifelong brotherhood. They continuously promote the ideals of Pan Americanism via intellectual dialogue, cultural awareness, and community service.

They are the brothers of the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Pi Delta Psi Fraternity Inc. at George Mason University. Their organization was first established at Binghamton University in NY on February 20th, 1994. On November 17th, 2012, their chapter was chartered making them the first Asian American Interest Cultural Fraternity to be established at George Mason University as well as the first chapter of Pi Delta Psi in the state of Virginia. Their mission is to maintain their fraternal existence by instilling values that nurture and perpetuate the continual growth and development of individuals through academic achievement, cultural awareness, righteousness, and friendship and loyalty while fostering ethical behavior, leadership, and philanthropy. Their Four Pillars are Academic Achievement, Cultural Awareness, Righteousness, and Friendship/Loyalty.

They are the Sigma Chapter of Iota Nu Delta Fraternity, Inc., the world's FIRST South Asian interest fraternity. They were established at George Mason University on April 23rd, 2017. Since then they have hosted multiple events and have received numerous recognition for academic and professional excellence. They have won multiple chapter awards for our school. They have hosted multiple events combating sexual assault, racism, and inequality.

Sigma Psi Zeta is a multicultural, Asian-interest Greek organization. They are a social, cultural, educational, and community service-oriented sorority. Their national philanthropy is to combat the violence against womxn in its varied forms. They are involved in a demographic that we seek to support and empower ourselves and those who are affected by any form of violence to speak up. The SYZters of Sigma Psi Zeta stands United behind our philanthropy, on both an organizational and individual level.
